Devastation @ Bar Monsta

Yesterday I had the pleasure of returning to Bar Monsta after two days of not being there
This time it was to see Devastation, The More I See and Blood Shot Dawn. Despite what the flyer said, Mutant and Seregon were not playing for various reasons.
The More I See, for me, didn't deliver. Listening to their MySpace page I feel that they just didn't deliver a strong enough performance. There was a fair sized crowd there though and a lot of people seemed to like what they heard. I will see them again in London and see if they step up to the plate.
Devastation pulled a packed house. I haven't seen Bar Monsta that full since an Evile gig a year or so ago. From the start the guitarists and singers stepped in to the crowd and thrashed their way through song after song. It's a miracle that they didn't get taken out by the mini pits that exploded from the sea of thrashing hair that lay before them.
