New Metal Army is a website created by metaldazza and a few friends. There are LOADS of good Heavy Metal sites on the internet so why make another one?
Well we decided that there just aren't enough people going to the gigs that we go to. The gigs were awesome so we came to the conclusion that people just don't know about them. New Metal Army is commited to helping, actually forcing more people to go to gigs.
Buying albums is great but until you've stood in a pit and listened to a metal band explode you basically haven't lived. Seeing bands live helps the band, the scene and the genre so get off your arse and go and listen to metal in it's rawest form.
If a band impresses you remember to buy their merchandise at the gig. The band gets a bigger cut of proceeds at gigs so you'll be helping them out. If a band sucks then go and talk to them. Be polite and both of you will see what the fuck is going on between you. People at metal gigs often look like cunts but they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Anyway, enjoy the site, go to some gigs, join in, live the fucking metal dream.
